On 15 September 2023, Fabian Ziermann discussed antitrust law in eSports at the 5th conference of the FeSR (Forschungsstelle für eSports-Recht). Fabian outlined potential cartels between publishers and eSports teams in the LCS Academy League, potentially anticompetitive player transfer clauses, as well as potentially anticompetitive discrimination in the LEC eSports ecosystem.
